MPH Program Overview
The MPH Program from the University of Maryland College Park provides students with the option to choose from three different MPH program specializations that each provide an in depth understanding of the field in question. The program is a campus based one that readies students for careers in numerous groups, organizations, and jobs in the private and public sectors. Leadership and research based roles are the most common but other possibilities exist after graduation as well.
MPH Curriculum and Courses
There are three primary specialization areas that students can select from when they take the MPH program from the University of Maryland. These concentration areas are:

Obviously each field will focus on different areas of study – the Biostatistics field uses data and stats to identify and address various health issues or risks while the environmental health concentration focuses on food and water safety and other environmental issues and their impact on our health. All three concentrations share basic core classes and then feature specialized classes tailored to the field of study.
