MPH Program Overview
Morgan State University’s MPH program provides a quality education in the public health field. Graduates can enter research and development careers monitoring, analyzing, and implementing various policies and programs to boost public health in the general population. The MPH program from Morgan State University places a special emphasis on public health in an urban setting to help enhance quality of life in urban centers. It’s a classroom based program that is made up of forty eight credit hours. It also requires students to complete an internship as part of their education during the program.
MPH Curriculum and Courses

• Two years of experience working in a health field aren’t required but are highly preferred
• An in person interview with a member of the admissions committee from Morgan State University
MPH Tuition and Financial Aid
While the fees for attendance will likely increase as years go by, as of the 2012-2013 academic year the fees for the MPH program are 421 dollars per credit for in state students and 751 dollars for those who live out of state. Additional fees may also be applied.
